door locks key replacement

:eek:So i lost my keys about a year ago and havent been able to get in to my trunk or lock up my dime.So i called a locksmith and they told me to remove the passanger side lock and bring it to them.So i did when i got their i asked why they need this lock.I was informed that on older datsuns they have a code on the passanger lock it took 5 min to make a new key and it works great.so if your like me and lost your keys or bought a datsun that didnt have door keys here you go it cost me $28.00.Not bad compaired to the price of new locks.

I had a AAA guy make a new key from the glovebox lock in my Accord when I lost my keys off a ride at six flags. I was surprised the glovebox tumbler was that advanced :D

Datsun 411s have a locking gas cap cover. If you slide the key hole cover over, the tumbler code is stamped on the lock face.

I don't have the keys for my sp311 doors, guess I will be taking out the passenger lock.
