famousyellowz
If you are interested, you can always just stop by to grab a burger and not ppay $3 to be in the show...and enjoy the carhops. They have car stuff there all the time. Different types of cars on different days. I am not saying this is a good show or a bad show as I only drive by and never participated. Funny, I live near by and never knew that Sunday was import day. Quote Link to comment

OL YELLER
better off at bobs big boy in burbank (since hes in your avatar) w/all the domestics... OH MY GOD...did you say Bob's Big Boy in Burbank????? I grew up in Burbank (went to Burbank High School) and the late 50's (57,58,59) were the best of times at that place on Friday/Saturday night....Listen man, Tommy Ivo brought his fueler there for kicks one time...there was a dude named Norm Grabowski that had this great 27 T Roadster...aw shit...now ya got me goin.....Believe me this was American Graffiti before American Grafitti.............hell we used to go to Bobs, cruise through the "line" and then head up Barum Blvd to Hollywood and cruise Hollywood Blvd....then head back over the hill to Bobs fo a burger, etc. holy Crap that was soooooooooooooo long ago.......(Back when Burbank High School had a decent football team).......................My wife just asked me what I was grinning about, and I said Bob's.....she just smiled and said "Oh man, those were the good times huh...? I remember that name from Rod & Custom mag back in the sixties. Norm invented the T-bucket. Dude is still around: Norm's original T is hidden away, but this here's a close twin: ...and now we return you to our regularly scheduled program "Talkin' Dattos". Quote Link to comment
