Marsh510
Need help finding correct rotors for the 30mm calipers. I'm running a Infiniti m30 strut setup. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Redrilled 300z rotors seems like the most sensible option Quote Link to comment
Marsh510
I actually bought a pair of redrilled ones but were way too thick to fit in between the pads. Just wanted to see if possibly someone can send a link to a pair of rotors they're possibly running. Quote Link to comment
toylet
sell the 30mm calipers and get the 26mm calipers and put the matching rotor on from a 1990 n/a 300zx. Thats the setup I have on m30 struts, all bolt on. Quote Link to comment
Marsh510
Was thinking about that. I'll start looking. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
That means something is wrong. They are called 30mm calipers because the rotor is 30mm thick. Measure your rotor. If its 30mm thick then you either already have 26mm calipers or you have pads that are too thick and need to be ground down or replaced. You could easily have the same problem with 26mm units. They are interchangeable fit on THE EXACT SAME CAR. Swapping the whole kit out to 26mm will likely fix it because you are replacing the incorrect piece along with perfectly good pieces. Not Because the 26mm magically bolt up but the 30mm doesn't. You can't have 30mm z32 calipers and 30mm z32 caliper brake pads and 30mm z32 rotors and not have them work together. One of those three HAS to incorrect. Here's a site with fantastic z32 brake parts comparisons. http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm Find the problem, don't just throw money at it. 1 Quote Link to comment

jeffball610
I have the 2 piston Z31 setup, but I'm also running S12 V6 struts with Z31 5 lug hubs. I have the matching rear disk setup in the back with a 15/16" MC and a Willwood proportioning valve. They seem to work well enough, but I have yet to test them hard enough to lock them up. Draker
26mm calipers should be cheaper also.. because the 240sx guys want 30mm.. same with the z32 guys. Quote Link to comment
Big_E-Dog
30mm calipers on an m30 strut with q45 rotors....redrilled to 4 lug lol. Quote Link to comment
