Trod8812
Besides cover it Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
You can find new dash covers/caps on eBay. You should make a single thread for your truck. Quote Link to comment
Trod8812
How would I make one thread for my truck, make a new thread with links to these? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Smh. Reason for having one is to prevent one person from creating multiple threads for every thing one has wrong. It keeps all your information and work in one place. Think of it as your own garage space here at Ratsun. Quote Link to comment
Trod8812
My brother wants to buy a different l20 head and a person who he's trying to buy it from says he has different casting numbers. What sort of a difference if any would that make? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Avoid the 210 unless building a stockish L16. Prices are decent depending on conditions. A87 could be a C/C head. Maybe? Which head you get will depend on your pistons. Does he just want to spend money or does he NEED a cylinder head? Quote Link to comment
Trod8812
So anyone of them would fit? L16,L18, and L20 all use the same head? Quote Link to comment
Trod8812
He has a L20B Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Over 30+ years the heads have been back and forth between all the engines. If it fits an L16, L18, or L20B...it will fit an L........ OldDatsuns.com Read everything there. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
What L engine does your brother have??? L20B head on L16 = low compression. There are two L20B heads U67 '75-'77 with square ports and exhaust heated intake or W58 '78-'80 and round exhaust ports and coolant warmed intake. Changed the title so the search function will find it for 620 owners looking for seats Quote Link to comment
Trod8812
He has a L20B and wants to put a different head on it the he can put performance parts into Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Any of the performance parts available will fit either head. A better question would be what head does he currently have? The result of anything added to any of the heads is minimal. Upgrading one versus the other has little effect. Depending on pistons and exhaust manifold should determine which head to go after.
