Hello everyone,

I wanted to share this dashboard renewal i did. I already had bondo so that part was free. I used 3M 90 high strength contact adhesive and about 7 dollars of a synthetic fake leather material from local craft store. Total cost me under $25. I grooved out the cracks in the dash and applied a couple layers of bondo, then palm sanded it to shape and upholstered it.

Hello everyone,

Hit another snag.. the clutch is slipping in 3rd gear. It high revs past about 1/4 throttle. wondering if this is the clutch or slave cylinder. I flushed the Transmission fluid and refilled to proper level. I bled the system and tried adjusting the slave cylinder. The adjuster rod on the slave is lose/ disconnected from the slave cylinder. So i guess my question is.. Is the slave cylinder adjusting rod connected internally/ threaded into the slave cylinder? I went to adjust it and everything is really lose and the rod i can move back and forth and side to side a good 1/4". I have a clutch kit coming tomorrow just in case its that, but my dad said it wasn't driven hard and it only has 56k miles on the truck which seems low to me for a bad clutch. I have done a clutch replacement before, but i just don't want to break into this thing and realize it still has life on it. As always thank you!
