Does 1 go to A or B? Does the battery go to A or B?

1 connects to A. Where is the positive battery cable?? If you try to start the truck on the 10ga (or so) wire, you might melt it!

The cable from the battery positive also goes to A. All those starter connections should be clean 'n' shiny. I also spray 'em with that purple stuff to keep 'em that way.

 

BONUS PRIZE: The Yellow w/ Black stripe wire hanging loose without an end terminal goes to your oil sensor.

Slodat is right...just run the positive batt. cable to "A". Oh & BTW your heater hose is missing...;) dont mind me just bein a smart ass :lol:

make sure to ground the engine to the frame or negative side of the battery. The body and the engine both need a good ground to the battery. Electricity always finds a way, don't let it find a ground through the small gauge wires for the alternator, the out come will be bad, very bad. Trust me on that one :D

ok... Should I ground the block (engine) to the fire wall? Negative battery to alt mount? anything else?

Damn that just happened to me and it cooked my ground for the alt. thats good now i know why

First, you need your positive cable and that connects to A. Nothing connects to B, that goes right to the starter.:D
