There is only one way that you might be able to remove the turn signals and make it look sorta legal, round headlights with turn signals in them.

Here is the grill.

Here are some headlight examples in 5 3/4 inch with turnsignals.

I have not been able to find these type below in 5 3/4 inch, but I am sure they make them.

This is a complicated endeavor, you will also need to make round headlight buckets/assemblies to match the grill dimensions, here is a photo of mine.

Thank you wayno this is the information I was looking for and I saw berni had yellow lenses on his square light I just am not sure if the lights Will be to much to handle on the circuit

If you want yellow lights I can send you the link to the paint I used, it works real well, and one can does a few sets of lights.

It does make them a lot less bright tho.

I removed my front bumper and I want to get rid of those blinker lights. Has any one tried switching the high beams to the low beam side and got tinted lenses and using the low beam lights to run on the blinker circuit?

Would there be to much strain on the circuit to do it?

If I read this correctly you are getting rid of the stock turn signal lamps on the front bumper.

Moving the high beams to the outside position

Moving the low beam lamps to the inside position, painting them amber and  using them for turn signals.

Again high beams are just wrong for driving with into on coming traffic. Low beams have a cut off point to reduce glare. High beams are to provide maximum light. HIDs in proper projector lamps with high and low beams are ok but many put HID bulbs into H4 lenses and there is no cut off for the light and again oncoming cars are blinded.

Low beam lamps are 55 watt, so twice as much as the 20 watt turn signal lamps and twice the current draw. May blow fuses. You could use heavier fuses but the wire size might now over heat. Because the 'turn signals' are now as bright as headlamps and the size of headlamps, oncoming traffic will think you are running with your high beams on. A turn signal may make them think you are flashing your lights at them. The natural reaction is for the other driver to flash back or just turn his high beams on. Do you really want to anger other drivers these days?

Please think about this first. There is a reason high beams are in the middle and low beams on the outside. Turn signals should be a reasonable distance away from the low beams so they are easier to see by other traffic. Other drivers expect other cars to conform to certain expected rules. Do not confuse them with continuous high beams and flashing headlamps.

Thank you mike for the electrical information and I have been contemplating my decisions and what else I can do to make the front look better and have all my electrical just the way it is I just don't know where to place my blinkers at the moment
