1981 Datsun pickup rear differential on a 1980 Datsun 210

Hello, would a 1981 Datsun pickup rear differential fit on a 1980 Datsun 210?

Could I take the pick up trucks axels and third member and fit it on my datsun 210? Would it bolt on and fit without any issues?

 

If not what year and models would fit? Thanks.

I don't think the B210 has an H190 like the 720. the 720 rear is also 55ish" wide so it might not even fit under the B and it is 6 lug not 4 lug. :)

It depends on the truck but I'm leaning towards no. The only rears that will bolt into an 1980 210 are the insanely rare H165 80-83 200sx and the beefier H190 which comes from a truck I think. What happen to yours?

Nothing about the 720 rear end will work for the 210. Much too wide. Leaf spring mounts not coils and 4 linc like the 210. Six bolt rims. Forget it.

Only the '80-'81 S110 (200sx) had the H-165. The '82 and '83 S110 switched to the H-190. Either can be fitted to the 210 and is almost a drop in swap. Almost.

I tried to drop a H-165 behind my A15 with a 5 speed and the drive line was too long. Fyi.

That's right. H165 is not a bolt-in. B310 comes with H150.

 

However the 1980-1981 200SX rear axle assembly is an almost bolt-in for a B310.

ok thanks a lot guys. I was just thinking to upgrade the rear end. I was thinking of making a engine swap later on, but I guess ill keep it original.
