My L20 cost around 1700 or so...on the + side more than likely. I did swing for a few extras, lightened flywheel, portting the head (A87), full balance..

 

I assembled the motor myself, so that's some labor.

 

Just to give you a comparison to the other prices for rebuilts.

BTW that doesn't include the 3 blocks I went through before I finally got one that wasn't cracked between the headbolts.

Around the same price I paid with the same things as redeye did btw.... But My engine is good! Supposedly....

OK then...

i also went through 4 L20 blocks (counting the one i sold and thought was good... but still had the smallest crack :cursing: ) before i used a Z22 block

 

have you assembeled it yet?
