Watson
Ugh... I'm quite envious of the parts-porn that is your project. Is it an illusion or is the LS1 really that short (shorter than an L series)? Forgive my ignorance, I've never had a V8 although I absolutely admire them. What's the story on the engine? Looks promising! Quote Link to comment

Looks promising! most v8's are a bit shorter than l6's, they're 2 cylinders shorter, so in theory they should amost always be shorter. not sure on the larger displacement v8's, but a 350 is significantly shorter. that's why the best track z's are usually v6 equipped rather than inline 6, they have fantastic weight distribution. 73240z
I like it a lot! Was that fuel cell a custom job by ATL in a 240z tank? Quote Link to comment
EVILC
I like it a lot! Was that fuel cell a custom job by ATL in a 240z tank? Fuel cell is inside the tank, it is a ATL unit. I had the stock tank modded for it. Quote Link to comment
JSM
Clive, I was always confused on why you took the red 240z apart? Now your building a red 260z? How is the white one going? Quote Link to comment

Speedtospare
Awesome and inspiring post. I may have a few questions about your fuel setup. I want to retain the stock fuel tank in my 71 240Z. I was thinking about aeromotives stealth system. I want to eliminate fumes from the cabin if possible. I will be going 2JZ, so its a little different. I wanted LS but the 2JZ stuff worked out cheaper. Quote Link to comment
Skib
Run a 75/76 280z tank/straps. Will fit in your 240 and has baffles for the EFI Quote Link to comment
JSM
Clive, why did you rip the old one apart to build a similar new one? I thought you were tired of the old LS1 car and how specific it was? Quote Link to comment
