Zeusimo
Does Anyone Know If 510 LCA Bushings Are The Same As 610? The Poly Bushings I Bought For My Wagon Don't Fit I Was Looking At OEM Bushings And They Both Call For The Same Part # However Energy Suspension Has A Different Part # Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
Thats wierd, I would probably trust Energy. You gotta be careful with poly if your around snow and salt. Otherwise they will nearly last for ever (not literally more like 1-200k) Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Did you get the metal sleeve that is on the outside of the stock rubber bushing out? Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
Early 510 control arm bushings are different. The bushing end has a upper and lower section forming the bushing hole. The later arms (and 610, 710 & B210) have a welded in sleeve for the bushing to press into. Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
The outer bushing sleeve is still in place on the later arm pictured above. Easiest way to remove it is to saw thru the sleeve (just the sleeve and not the control arm itself) This will give room for the sleeve to collapse into the bore. Then drive it out with a punch or chisel. Cut (one slot is all you realy need) And chisel it out. Quote Link to comment
Zeusimo
I Removed The Sleeve But The Bushings And .070 Over Abit Wider Too Quote Link to comment
carterb
I bought an Energy Suspension set for one of my wagons. They fit the LCA arm just fine but the ID was too big for the pivot arm. If you tightened the nut and washer down enough it would squish the bushings taking away most of the play but that seemed pretty hokey so I bought some new OEM style rubber ones and used those instead. I don't know if they were mis-marked or what. I can't believe they'd all be that way. When you say 0.70 over are you talking the OD or the ID? If it is the ID, that's about the same problem I had. --carter Quote Link to comment
