hardbody ka24 oil pan??

has any one used the ka24 rear sump pan in a 510?

will it fit it looks like there is about 1" from pan to tranny?

That's a 4x4 pan there, I'd say it's going to hit the crossmember.

wont really work with that. youl need at least a 2WD pan from a hardbody or maybe a single cam 240sx...

 

the truck pan has a rear sump, and the 240sx pan is a front sump. 

 

im not 100% that a 240sx pan will bolt on to the HB engine.

Single cam 240sx oil pan will fit on to the HB motor. 

You want an oil pan from a 2WD truck. Nothing else. 

 

It will not be a perfect fit with the 2WD pan, but better than any other option. 

Some mild clearance will need to be done to closest edge of crossmember. You'll see on your test fit.

S13 and early D21 KA-E oil pans. The car will fit the truck but not the other way round.

Single cam pans will swap. 

DE pans will not. Completely different engines.

so if i find a 2 wheel pan it might work? or find  a 240 and swap crossmember is my other option

2WD truck will be easier to find and fit. 

 

Reversing the crossmember and hoping to find a pan from a car only made for 2 years is more difficult.
