when the fork is extended till it touchs the clutch tines ...  then theres only 3/8inch or less behind it  in the opening for the arm to move ....most all my other cars the arm is in the middle of the opening with about 2-2.5 inches of throw available...moving the throw out closer with a thicker collar will move the arm back into the middle or at least closer....right now there's no way the clutch could operate .... the slave was set up for the l16 same tranny but when we switched the first time ii pushed the clutch it pushed the rod and piston almost out and was bound the fuck up I looked and was like hmmmm that's not right .....so yes the l16 appeared to have the arm set up closer to where im trying to get .....which makes sense...... the pressure plates is the same spec wise as the other plates I have from 225mm l20 clutchs......
