is the plastic ring broken or the metal stick?

if metal stick is fallen down into the tube a strong pen magnet can pull it out ive done this in a older truck not sure about newer sentra.

if there is still some plastic visible ive screwed in a sheet metal screw to the plastic and have pulled it out this way

Assuming it has not wrapped itself around the crankshaft, You can buy "Claw" type pickup devices in most auto parts stores. You probably don't need the almost universal LED light on the tip, but it may come in handy when you drop bolts into the frame rails later on. Shove it in [keep it clean now] and clip on to the broken end of the dip stick and the rest should come naturally.

do this all the time at work, very common on sentras. Pinch off the pcv hose, then blow air through the breather port on the valve cover and the broken dipstick will come popping out of the tube.

only time this does not work is when someone has started bending the tube trying to pry it out, then your dropping the pan and pushing it out. sentra oil pans are gravy though
