]2eDeYe
You might want to rethink that solid mount at the transmission with the rubber mounts at the motor. The torque can break the case of that transmission if it can't release at the same rate as the motor, especially if you are boosting it. It's even happened to people using poly trans mounts with rubber motor mounts, a solid mount in the equation is worse. Do you plan to build support for the rubber mounts where they overhang the frame? If not it can lead to premature wear of the rubber mounts, as you are side loading them a bit. The purple is out there man. 1 Quote Link to comment
WallRocket
I am building full metal plates that go on the bottom of the mount. A circle design with a whole in the center, with a peace of metal hanging off the side. It is a little hard to explain. The over hang peace will have a 12mm bolt in it. The mounts in the pictures are not the ones I want to run. I want to run a OEM rb20det mount. As it is full metal on the bottom. Now as far as the trans "mount" lol I am unsure at this time what I am going to do. You provide a good point. I can either shake the truck to death, and run solid up front, or make something for the trans mount. 1 Quote Link to comment
WallRocket
You can't beat the placement. OEM drive shaft, and no steering mods. 1 Quote Link to comment
WallRocket
Cut a big o' hole in the heat shield. Glad i did, it was close to not fitting. Dump pipe came in today. (still no flange) Cut the coolant neck on the sr. Mounted fan. IT IS CLOSE THE CRANK PULLEY! Hope my radiator doesn't move. Working on radiator hoses now. Wish me luck. Quote Link to comment
WallRocket
Drill and tap the holes for the radiator. So it will bolt in. Quote Link to comment

WallRocket
Has anyone ever though about cutting a older gtr front to fit onto our trucks? I wonder how it would look. Random thought of the day. Here is my reason that made me pop that idea in my head. 1 Quote Link to comment
WallRocket
I was looking at the over all shape. I think you could cut and weld 2 fenders together, or does this front bolt onto our trucks? I will go research. I am aware that isnt a 620 Quote Link to comment

WallRocket
Hey guys! I have some updates for my sr20det into 620 pick up write up. I am running my engine wire harness under the seats. Also, I am extending my ignitor to be located with the ECU. So I will have my ecu, ignitor, switch panel, and power interface all in the same location in between the two seats. Sr20DET Lower harness. 1. Remove the wires that connect to the alternator on the sr20det engine. Here is some pictures that will help what they look like. -2x White Solid White (big) goes to the starter (+) termanal. This wire charges the system. -White red strip goes to ignition switched (+) This wire turns on the alternator. -Black (Big) Goes from alternator (-) to chassis (-) anywhere fit. This wire grounds the system. -Black white strip (big) Goes to ignition switch Start signal, use the pigtail, and run your own wire. This wire is the starter cranking wire. Here is some pictures that should help i.d. the wires needed for the charging system. Remove the rest of the harness as it is not required to have. DO keep it if, you plan to wire in speedo. Now on to my build Here is my overflow. I still need to drill out a 10mm hole for the bottom mount. Wire route for me. SS turbo lines Line to intercooler ran One intercooler pipe done Fuel pump walbro 255 mounted to factory tab SUCKS WHEN SOMEONE CONVERTS A HARNESS NOT PROPERLY! IF YOU CAN'T DO IT RIGHT FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN!!!!! I got a missed up harness. I have spent about 2 days now fixing there "work" Quote Link to comment
