dakotahchore
Hah! The phone holder is functional, but I do want to get a better looking one.. The ECU will be going up under the dash soon! Quote Link to comment

dakotahchore
I blew my load early yesterday and handled it/installed it with uncured paint.. left smudges and fingerprints in it, and didn't have it completely centered with the radio. Got really annoyed with it today driving so I uninstalled, sanded it down, and repainted.. Looks a lot better and I won't touch it until it's dry! Quote Link to comment

Jackson311
did i see this on instagram the other night?? little fab projects like this are awesome. i love the looks of double din's, very clean... tho i have to say i find that jvc interface little annoying (dad has it) as far as DD's themselves, to be honest, never use anything beside volume and next button (after set up eq) and find the bright glowing screen distracting one road trip I watched (listened) to a bunch of stand up comedy. but other than that, just for looks Quote Link to comment
dakotahchore
You probably did see it on instagram :P I use it a lot. Yeah, it's just for looks really. Adds that custom flair I wanted for my dash. I really like seeing my album art and song info through bluetooth though! And friends watch TV/Movies sometimes. Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
Very cool! BTW, are you all still meeting up there? Quote Link to comment
BayAreaDimer
DUDE! ive been looking for a cleaner looking console to fit my double din ( I just cut and modded the original) can you please let me know what you used to make that work out so well? i'd really appreciate it Quote Link to comment
dakotahchore
Check my build thread! I cut an original bezel up and used some ABS plastic, epoxy, bondo, and wrinkle paint. It's a lot of work but a fun custom project :) Quote Link to comment
StinkyTurbo
What radio kit did you use to mount the double din? Quote Link to comment
dakotahchore
Not sure, there were just some metal brackets holding the single din in that I bent and got to hold mine in.. I'll see if I have any pics. Quote Link to comment
