blackmarkit
old motor that had a blown headgasket. Ka24de exhaust cam. Luckily I had a extra. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
wow, that has to be one of the groser looking motors ive seen.... and i pulled this apart.. Quote Link to comment
blackmarkit
Well it doesn't look great I still need a throttle cable and the radiator I had went in my truck before I got rod of it so I need one of those too. The car is running and has been for about a week but I'm now working on the ls3 swap in the 280z. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mirrorimg
I really like how neatly you ran the clutch and brake lines. Did you use something to straighten them for the long stretch across the firewall? Quote Link to comment
blackmarkit
Actually those are the factory lines. I sanded them and painted them with a stainless steel paint called steel it. It has stainless flakes in the paint. It's durable and looks like real bare metal. I did the wiper motor and the brake booster spacer. Quote Link to comment
Will
Well it doesn't look great I still need a throttle cable and the radiator I had went in my truck before I got rod of it so I need one of those too. It looks great to me - the only weird thing is the diagonal driver's seat! Quote Link to comment
its_karl
it's so you can "get your lean on" easier Quote Link to comment
Raggleflaggle
Man, this build is totally freakin' sweet. your initiative is very admirable, i wish i could do even half of this stuff. beyond amazing. Quote Link to comment
blackmarkit
Yeah will the driver seat is leaning because there a huge hump in the floor where the catalytic converter went. I'm assuming the stock 710 driver seat would correct this. The seat that are in it are from my 1200 coupe. Quote Link to comment
blackmarkit
Thank you raggleflaggle. God has gifted me with a passion for Datsuns and automotive fabrication. Hopefully I will be doing this full time soon. I feel bad it takes so long for me to post something. I hope my post encourage, motivate, teach, and give ideas to all its viewers. 2 Quote Link to comment
INDY510
Let me know when you're ready to sell,, or want most, or less, of a 510 as partial trade .... I need a few weeks to think about it though first Could you build a whole tube frame, dwarf car suspension'ed, go cart that fits under my Rusty Ruby hack job 510 roof? ... I want it to have a front engine V4 out of a Honda ST1300, and light weight IRS or 510 IRS .... but less than 2-3k in fab work to be running and driving in parking lot's, onto trailers, on the CHEAP 2 Quote Link to comment
