Longer studs

Ok I have searched and ask a few people and I am having no luck. I need longer wheel studs for my '77 620. I need about a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch longer then normal.

I think its the infiniti j30 ones are longer that the 510s and if its not the j30 its another infiniti from that era but there about $2 each at autozone, or s13 50mm ebay ones.

I used dorman studs on both my 620's  they are a slight different thread pitch but lots longer and much more safe than the short stock studs.

Why do you need longer studs?

I put z32 brake swap and and my wheels do not agree with the caliper location. I put about 3/8 space worth of washers. So ima buy 1/2" spacers. Once I put the 1/2" I won't be able to start lugs on to the studs. The lug already just barely makes two full revaluations on the stud with just the washers and I don't feel safe with tht amount.

Ill try to find the part number.  I called dorman and this was the ONLY stud I could find that had the proper knurl Dia and the correct length.

moser studs. super inexpensive, stronger, same knurl diameter.

Stock length on a truck is about 40mm.

 

FutoFab has 60mm studs that have the correct knurl diameter for the 620.
