Hi my names ben (newbie) i live in sydney australia and i am currently building a 180b/610 sss project car. its a 73 model which i picked up for 300 bucks and included a halfcut and a smashed sss. I am 28 years old and owned my first datsun when i was 17. i have owned 7 200b's a 1200 and finally the 180.

It was a long time in between dattos for me i sold my last 200b when i was 21 and didnt own another datsun until 28 so 7 years went by of me kicking myself for getting rid of the last one due to family commitments. Anyway enogh about me.

I decide to go old school with this project as i have had a worked l20b sitting in peices in the old mans shed for over 5 years. Its a high compression motor with full arp bolt kit and twin 45 webers. i have almost finished the body work it took me a year of occasional sundays as i work six days a week and have a young family so i dont get alot of time. Heres some pics and i will post more it progresses.

Me and my old man are also building a track car. Its a 90 ED civic with a 2010 honda accord euro supercharged K24 with K20 head. No expense has been spared with this car: 30 point full adjustable race suspension, full roll cage, custom built exhaust and extractors, custom flares to fit 245 17s on the front, custom built brakes built by the bloke who builds australian v8 supercar brakes etc. We are almost finished have to install supercharger, intercooler, build wiring and install custom carbon fibre bonnet. were hoping for about 500hp which is unheard of in australia from a civic (you guys have some insane hondas in the u.s) here are some photos.

hey you're like me i've got an old school for weekend cruising and a not-so old-school for daily kick arse

hey what's up with the oz datsun forums? seems like they've dried up...

Yeah they have gone a bit stale. alot people join datsun clubs and do most there trading through them but it costs you to join and become a member.

There pretty sweet have some awesome datto cruises.
