Davec
still have the other straight bar grille with the turn signal deletes, for a square light Link to comment
Kirden
OMG you got a goon! I want a goon or 4 door so bad. However that journey will wait for another time. I really think the B210 will be a blast. If you still have one of those lovely 510 crossmembers laying around I may try to grab it. I have plans for some L/KA power in the new 4 door :) Link to comment
Laecaon
Not just a 510. I am now once again a member of the longroof society, aka "goon squad". B) So how soon til you IRS swap it? I found you on another forum asking about IRS from a few years back... Link to comment
datsunfreak
So how soon til you IRS swap it? Bwahahaha! Not long. B) Should have it on the road by this summer (it's not currently running). Then planning to drive it for awhile with a solid axle, then probably do the IRS swap next summer. Link to comment
Laecaon
510 or SX IRS? Link to comment
datsunfreak
510 or SX IRS? Based on my experience putting the 510 IRS into my 1200, probably that. But we'll see. Miata is also an option... Wrong wheel bolt pattern, but looks like it would be way simpler... Link to comment
Davec
what's hub to hub on the miata? Link to comment
datsunfreak
what's hub to hub on the miata? As I recall it was around 5" wider than a 1200 (what we originally bought it for) so maybe 3" wider than a 510? Certainly way better than an S13. At least way less narrowing needed? Link to comment
datsunfreak
Internet says 56" for Miata, 50" for 510 (sedan). Wagon axle may be wider. I know the ass is a little wider on a wagon and as such you can fit more rubber under them. So it should be more forgiving of a bit of extra width. But how about we stop here and save it for my build thread which should be coming very soon... Link to comment

Davec
the s13 has been done before in the land down under, link http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=38998&viewmode=flat&order=ASC&type=&mode=0&start=10 Link to comment
datsunfreak
Ah, but which is easier to narrow? I think with the right wheels, the Miata could be installed without narrowing. Maybe. Link to comment
Kirden
I smell an awesome build thread coming  Link to comment
Laecaon
I think with the right wheels, the Miata could be installed without narrowing. Maybe. Super high offset... Maybe... I think stock width is 53.5... adding 2.5 inches is harsh. 7 wide, et0 is about flush stock. So maybe a 30mm offset or better 35mm. Oh and yes I am still a stalker apparently. So what is happening to the 210 hatch? or happened? Link to comment
