jastrunk97
So I did my research and the Hardbody front disc brakes will fit on my 78 KC (direct bolt on). Correct me if I am wrong but there is mixed info on if my 14" rims would still fit, but I THINK my appliance mesh wheels would (they are 14"), any info on this? Parts I would need for HB brakes. 85.6' thru 97' 2wd 4cylinder D21 Hardbody truck hubs & the dust shields.85.6' thru 97' 4x4 Hardbody or Pathfinder Calipers & Mounting brackets.and new rotors for a 86-97 2wd D21 Hardbody V6 truck. jastrunk97
Also, lets talk sway bars. I am wanting to do the pathy swaybar swap like yellow620 for the rear but is there a easier route to take? For the front I am just gonna do a 72-77 sway bar swao but I think I want one thats alittle thicker. Any advice? I dont wanna pay the 180+ on ebay for one... Quote Link to comment
Hooligan
No reason to swap hubs Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
Your trucks starting to look real nice. What color are you going to paint it? Quote Link to comment
jastrunk97
I was gonna go cherry red but a sky blue would look really good as well.... Quote Link to comment
jastrunk97
Haven't really done anything with the truck lately. I did however drive it on a 100 mile roundtrip to pick up a new toy. I am not new to dirtbikes but am wondering if you guys know any common problems with this model? red76datsun
nice bike! not many known problems. make sure your oil/gas mixture is on (I used yamalube). wrong mix and it could run really hot and lean. I know theres no cam to worry about or valves to float cause 2 strokes rev high. I think that's why most people blow the top end is because they rail them at uber high rpms and its just too much. jastrunk97
I recently got pulled over for burnt out headlight, finally got that fixed. While I was at it I took off my belt and sanded down the pullies, hopefully that will fix the squealing! They looked pretty glazed Quote Link to comment

BlackBird620
Single with r4 cam sounds beastly so does a dual 248 up to you listen to both. single cam motors are cheaper to get than the dual Quote Link to comment
jastrunk97
Dual cam :D Debating on weather to use the KA tranny or not. Quote Link to comment
