Its a 1982 datsun 720 PU 2.2 5 speed. She looks alittle rough in the pics but she isn't that bad just needs some TLC. It has 110xxx on the clock idk if that's good or not for a datsun alot of people where telling me that it was a bad trade cause datsun break down alot. Any ways on to the plans. PLANS Lower it around 5/5 (Bag it when i get out of the army and back home in MI) Shave the hood vents, cab vents, tailgate handle, Fender badges. After Market chrome square Mirrors Spray it in Red epoxy primer small stereo shallow 12 with a 400 watt amp Take the stock front bumper and weld the end caps on to make the entire bumper 1 piece smooth Cadillac escalade rims or nissan titan rims Get it running like a champ Electric fan Try and find another datsun with tan or black interior to swap out for my blue interior. Find a datsun with powersteering and put PS on mine. I'm sure more will come along the way just can think of much now. First mod pulled the gaugdy bumper off now i need to hack that exhaust off second mod pulled the mud flaps off Quote Link to comment

S10's have one of the worst motors on the planet. A Datsun will not let you down often and when it does it will be cheap to fix unlike the s10's which are known for throwing rods through the block ( I'm very anti American, specifically s10's and rangers) 1 Quote Link to comment

Bagged620bulletside Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2012 First Coat of resin still alot of work to be done but it is getting there. This is what i started with. It was a crappy cardboard kick panel that covered up some tiny junk ass speakers so what i did was i grabbed some of GM's fancy plastic speaker mounts out of the driver and passenger side door of a jimmy cut them down and glued them on the cardboard then laid some "matting" over them and laid some resin down. Kinda the look i am going for...final color will be GM pewter. Also got a free sub and amp today so i will be installing that stuff tomorrow if weather permits it. Quote Link to comment

New shift boot from autozone really surprised how nice this was for 10$ Cheap rustoleum bedliner junk looks pretty good on the sub box Tomorrow I am gonna swap my shims around and tuck my exhaust up.
