sell the engine, not sure how much its worth? got told to jump on here and sell it to the Usa for good money for the fact the engines newzealand factory new and in deace condition

The sales rules state you must put a price.

 

In any case, L18s are only really desired here if they are an L18E and have the complete EFI system on them. Otherwise they're just a plain engine. Shipping would be prohibitive and cost about what the engine is worth.

it is an L18E complete fuel enjection system. i know what the rules state about a fixed price but it dont hurt to ask round to see what its worth..

If you are asking for offers then it's for sale and must have a price on it. I moved this to Parts For Sale. You will get the same amount if you sell the intake and EFI alone. Shipping would be much better too. I'm going to go out on a limb and set an asking price of $400 Or Best Offer? If you think this is too low change it or get me to. If people think it's too high they can priovate message you with an offer.

Sure US dollars would be fine if this is your target market. This is totally a guess on the price, as there would be shipping added. I didn't want to accidentally low ball you so I went slightly high (I hope) I would imagine no one will want the motor as it is just dead weight.

Okay, ive had engine parts quoted. FIXED price for inlet manifold with fuel rails and wiring, the head and computer. the whole EFI system i will sell for $2000. too much? well! this is NewZealand factory new in 1982. The USA did not get these and they are very rare in japan. Im willing to negotiate price and other parts off engine if wanted.

this isn't a comment on your price just a comment on the market, at the Canby show, the complete efi set up was for sale for $500 with no takers
