You should assume its not for sale and leave him alone,he's probably tired of some asshole leaving notes on his car.

Thanks for the replies some had me laughing my ass off..lol. I really liked that 610 from seattle really clean thanks for that post :). You were right about the 73 part about smogging but my cousin owns a smog shop so either way no worries for me....lol. I would like to dump a 13b or 20b rotary in it or maybe just keep it stock not sure yet but i know once i get it i wont know what direction to go. I know i would love to try to stay as original as possible with a few nice upgrades to it to keep true to the car and style. I was searching ads once and ran into a 73 180b sss for 9,000 but it was in australia and i did not want to hassle with getting it over here and all that comes with getting a car from overseas. Not to mention 9,000 was way more than i wanted to pay but i know that the car was showroom condition with no rust or damage at all so that was the best thing about it. I think the most i would want to spend on a good working 610 is about 4,500 cash but i know that it will take some searching and in that price range their is some work needed to be done thats for sure. Well Ratsun folks thanks for the comments, postings and leads I really appreciate you all since i got the green light from the wife to get my toy....lol

13b or 20b isn't original, but KAs, SRs or VGs are cheaper and at least Nissan.

He's probably already "over" 610's. The title, " I keep looking for a 1973 Datsun 610 help me please :( " tells me that someone saw a featured car on the internet and had to have one... like, RIGHT NOW. After 2 days of searching local craigslist ads, one hadn't turned up, so they searched the depths of their abilities, pooling all their resources and an account on a Datsun forum was created..

edit: .. just realized, his only 2 posts were in this thread.. his last login was a few days after his last post. Sounds like that's exactly how it went down.

I think this is a non starter. santrolopez you really should post this again in the classifieds. I think this thread is going to die soon. Include pictures good pictures and lots of info on the car. 4 speed? auto? miles, any custom work done, rims tires, upgrades. Basically the higher the asking price the more you should put into the ad.

I found this on CL yesterday. $400 - It's a cheap investment on a project car if you can still find one! it's looks to be 1973!
