xxmass Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 28 guage sheet metal is sold at home depot in 12"x12" it may feel flimsy, but when cut to this size and with the bends it feels just right. also at this guage it can be cut with hand shears and bent pretty much by hand and light hammer use. i also used a bench vise. i mocked up the shield with repurposed 6pack cardboard. the mounting holes and bolts are from the air cleaner bracket. the holes are 1/4" drill bit with 36mm center to center here completed in metal and formed and installed 3 Quote Link to comment

Put the dizzy back in turned 90 and the vacuum advance will be toward the rad, the matchbox will be down at 6 o'clock and cooled by the rad air. 2 Quote Link to comment
