skyblue
I have 195/50's on right now so the problem is with the zx struts the gold adjustable perch in this pic hits the tire and won't let me go any lower. So that's why I think maybe 195/45's will let me go lower. Quote Link to comment

Draynor
Yeah, I have 7" springs as well. For reference I am running 280zx struts shortened for 92 MR2 inserts with ebay coil sleeves. No rubbing at this height, on fenders or perch. You can see how much they tuck in behind the fender here. 2 Quote Link to comment

skyblue
Hey draynor what spring rating are your 7 inchers? Quote Link to comment
Draynor
Hey draynor what spring rating are your 7 inchers? They are 450lbs. I just got a set of 300lbs to try out. The 450s are just a little to stiff for me. I have adjustable inserts, So that helped a little bit with that stiff of a spring. I think the 300s will be perfect. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Kingpin Inclination is about 3° different. ZX gives more negative camber 240Z: 5° nominal 280ZX: 8° nominal Factory tolerance is over 1 degree ahhh yea, the zx has like a 8-12 degree difference more vert , i think dmike know the numbers . Draynor
The 450s rode really nice on freeway, but any kind of bump and it was too stiff. I also had my shocks on the 1 position to help with how stiff it was. Quote Link to comment

skyblue
Heard a nasty grinding noise when I started her up at busta nuts shop today. Put it on a rack to take a look below and saw this inside the bell housing. Apparently it's the part if the starter. So looks like a new starter is in order. That's the life of owning a datsun. Take the good with the bad. Quote Link to comment
