its going on a z22 for a 510.

 

did the truck L16 come with a different pan?

NKrader needs a L-16 oil pan from a 510. I do not know if a 521 oil pan will fit, but I am pretty sure a 510 oil pan will not fit on a 521

The 521 will be different than the 510 pan. Trucks are rear sump, cars are mid or front. A car L18/L20B pan from 610/710/S10 or A10 may work but there are enough L16s pulled for motor swaps that there should be some out there.

The L16 oil pan has the same part number as the 610 and 710 L18 motors.
