compression
They say the 610 is heavier than the 510.... Has anyone weighed their 610? I am curious to see what mine turns out to be. If you have, post up and give a few specs so we can compare apples to apples. My last 510/SR20DET 2-door weighed in at 2150lb. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
They say the 610 is heavier than the 510....Has anyone weighed their 610? I weighed my 610 when it was stock and it came out to 2195. My stock 510 came out at 2040. And my old near stock 1200 Coupe weighed 1615. ;) Quote Link to comment
Burabuda
a whopping 155 lbs.? rex was right! not sure about the 510, but the 4dr 610 supposedly weighs less than the ht Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
not sure about the 510, but the 4dr 610 supposedly weighs less than the ht On a 510, the 4dr weighs 30 pounds more than a 2dr, and a wagon weighs about 90 pounds more than a 2dr. Quote Link to comment
Burabuda
the 2dr 610 should weigh more than the 610 4dr since it is a hardtop the doors themselves are heavyweights in fact, the 610 hardtop feels comparable in weight to the c110 ht the 610 4dr doesn't feel much heavier than a 510 4dr Quote Link to comment
compression
I weighted my 610 today (on my way back from Canby). 2450 lb according to the truck scale. half tank of gas. File that away for the record. by the way its this car: http://home.comcast.net/~suchy3072/610build/Page%201.htm BY the way, after swapping out the L20b and putting in the KA24DE, the front end sat a little higher and I had to adjust it down. Interesting. I recall the "Inertia Weight" sticker on my sedan saying 2500lbs. You say 2450lbs. Nice. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The KA is about 100 lbs more than an L20B I think. Was anything else changed at the time? Quote Link to comment
compression
I moved the battery to the trunk, and added an anti-swaybar, thats about all that changed during the swap. 100lbs difference sounds like a lot....but maybe if you include the transmissions. Did I mention I stripped the KA down? no more A/C, power steering, emissions, cast-iron power steering pump brackets, etc. Anyway, 150Hp at the wheels and 2450 lb isnt too bad. I think I will work on squeezing a little more from the engine , maybe 170hp at the wheels?..hmmm..... Quote Link to comment
