SpooF
i was bleeding my brake on my 510 and broke one of the rear drum bleeders, can i just take the drum apart or will i have to get a whole new drum kit or use an ez out and take it out? Quote Link to comment
Leprechaun311
If it was not frozen for years in there, an EZout has worked for me. The "square peg" ones work the best in that size. If it doesn't work, just start moving gradually larger in drill bits until the metal peels out. try to make sure your hole is centered... (that sounds real bad in re-reading it) Good luck... you were using a flare line wrench when it broke, yes? they are well worth the dollars in the long run.. and replace with speedbleeders, I love them. I'm BLUE
See if you can loosen the brake hose/line to the wheel cylinder. If you can afford to... just replace the entire wheel cylinder. Less headache than it's worth in my book. Of course replace wheel cylinders in pairs if you can or are able to afford to. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Or just take apart the drum and buy a new wheel cylinder. That is if the above does not work. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Damn, for the cost of it and time you'll spend, just buy a wheel cylinder. Quote Link to comment

Laecaon
Online, usually find a good brand on Rockauto, and then check to see if Amazon has the part for the same price as I get free 2 day shipping there. Quote Link to comment
SpooF
If mine doesn't come with speed bleeder anyone know what size will work for it? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You don't need a speed-bleeder. It will come with a regular bleeder, which is all you need. $5 at RockAuto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1209978,parttype,1952 Quote Link to comment
moath
I was all about speed bleeders until I chewed several new ones up with flare wrenches. They seem to be made from really crappy steel :( Quote Link to comment
josh_t
i had the same thing happen to me. about a week ago. i decided that i was sick and tired of broken crap and this was about an hour before i realized that that wheel cylinder leaked anyway. i just spent $12 and got one from AZ. well worth it. my wheel cylinder looks just like the one pictured above too lol.
