It has an L20B engine and the original 4 speed transmission. I have a 1978 Datsun 280ZX 5-speed that I could let go with it. I have a nice left front (driver's side) front fender since the one on it has an owie. I have Z wheels and the tires have less than 1000 miles on them. There is a 5-spd tranny in the trunk along with a new clutch to convert it. The interior is in pretty good shape for 40+ years old but you are very correct and it is in rough (but driveable/fixable) shape. Yes, I would take $1500 for it. You can call me at (360) 753-3779.
