Not from the outside no. The one in the green goon might have been aftermarket though?? May that even be a gas door key?

Lots of Datsuns had glove box keys, it just wasn't standard on most prior to 1975. I know the late 510 (A10) 78-81 had them standard, but they don't look anything like that. The 210 (B310), 810, 200SX, and 280ZX had them standard. Hell, even my 310 and my 720 have them.

 

HOWEVER... that looks oddly like a '78-81 510 Sedan gas door lock (which was on the roof pillar), BUT I can't say that for sure since all 3 of the Sedans I had, the gas door lock was broken out. Wagons and hatchbacks had significantly different gas door locks.

You might just be onto something with it being the HL 510 gas door lock..I did part one years ago
