datzenmike
Take it off and roughly measure the length. Take it to an auto parts house and get a pre made one matching your length. Note there are different styles of flair on the ends. Use yours to check the thread pitch matches. Take home and bend into the same shape. Wrap around something like a baseball bat to prevent kinking. Tape the fitting out near the ends so they don't slide down and get behind a bend and you can't slide them out again. You should be able to fix this for $5. Link to comment
Dime Dave
Follow Datzenmike's recomendation and get the tubing from the parts store. The nut on the 510 hard lines has an M10x1.0 thread. Tubing is 4.75mm or 3/16". The nut size on OE is 10mm, likely the parts store tubing nut will be 11mm, but that is not a problem. You want the standard double flare tubing, not the bubble flare (those are for European cars mostly). Correct double flare on left Wrong bubble flare on right 1 Link to comment
datzenmike
This is one of the things all old Datsun owners must be aware of. Many times you can't just go out and buy the part you need. I doubt very much that Nissan would still have this part in stock even if you had the money to throw at it. So the owner is left with having to find something that will work in it's place or even make one himself. If you want to keep your car on the road you will just have to get used to scrounging and even making your own parts. Even this can be fun and enjoyable. There is nothing like the feeling you get when you make something with your own hands that serves a purpose. Be sure to get a brake line wrench for those fittings. It will prevent stripping the fittings. Link to comment
