Need an alternator in a hurry!!!

Hi guys,

I am trying to get to the SPEC 510 meet in WV on friday.

My car has been acting up for a couple of weeks. Sputtering like crazy and running like crap.

Today my alternator crapped out. I think this was causing all the issues.

It is a 1969 510. It had an upgraded Hitachi alternator, don't know from what, but it has the internal regulator.

 

So, I need to know what is the best and most readily available solution for me.

I will try to source it out tomorrow install it tomorrow night and drive down on friday morning.

In addition to the '78 and up 280z and zx, a '78 or newer A10 (HL510), S10 (200sx) has an internally regulated 60 amp output. So does the '80 and up S110 (200sx), the 810/Maxima and the 720. Forget the '78 and up 620 as it only puts out 38 amp.
