PIMP MY TRAILER (my Datto hauler make-over)

Well, I havent mentioned it, but I'm moving... I got a job offer in AZ. so I either had to ship my NL320 ()$750.00) or rent a U-haul for $800.00:confused:

So I decided to look on Craigslist to see if I could find somthing that would work, so I didnt have to lose money.

And this is what I found.... (note: the grass growing on it)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was "all there" and had good tires, brakes, title and current tabs.

He wanted $1000.00

I asked what the lowest he would take and he said $800.00 SOLD!

 

The lights didnt work and the wood was a bit beat but it will hold the NL320 fine. I decided to grind all the rust off with a wire wheel...get new lights (LED's) and some paint. (Rustolium black and hammered silver, NAVY gray porch paint)

Looks good.....you probably went a little further then you wanted huh:D Kinda like restoring a car.....you never have a good stopping point so you go all the way

We're moving to Mesa/Gibert area, ...Leaving next weekend through idaho, montana way- shoot down torwards vegas to AZ.

I have traveled the 5 waay to many times, and I find that my wife and i have the best conversations when were driving through nowhere for hours on end...ha.

dude give me a call, i live on the west side of phoenix, but if u need any directions or help shout to me, 602-323-4422 , that's my cell and it's always on 24/7-365 , let me know when u get here, i know moving is hard, i only moved 7 miles from my old house and i'm beat, took almost a month to move 10 years of stuff.. decisions, decisions..used to be in the airforce, moved 4 times cross country, talk about tiring, and ya i know about those meaningful talks when traveling..see ya soon..:D

haha, not really. It was pretty shabby looking and i wanted it to atleast match the Silverado and the NL :D

 

Today I realized I needed even more lights for the front?

Amber markers for the front and side for that length of a trailer to be legal:confused: Oh well... looks cooler:cool:

Well BEEBANI has done damn near 95% of the work on the truck...

The things that are left will be done in time.

It was a quick move, so I'm more disapointed that we couldnt show off his work at some northwest shows:cursing:

But he definetly help create a sick truck, and people will see it soon enuff.:love:

Dont forget bout Steroid...hes only a few hours west of Phx. :D Hacked 521 & Z-train also live in AZ...Rusty were gonna get you a SWDP plaque when you get settled in :cool:. Tom, dont they do a weekly show there @ the pavillions in the summer? Would b kool to see a few D's there :cool:

pac, yea but the times are so screwed up, sometimes as early as 5 pm, others as late as 9 pm, but i'll do some diggin and see, also there are a few shows left here each year, severed ties, art of noize, and a couple of local clubs have get togethers..i do know when i take the 620 out, it gets more than it's share of stares and thumbs up, can't wait to see what happens with rusy's ride..:D give me a shout if u need anything, i'll be more than happy to help u get downloaded, let me know..:)

Cool. Good thing you painted it a fairly light colour, most seem to be dark colours. A few guys I know have found you can never have to many marker lights on a trailer. How do you miss a white trailer with 40(!) LED marker lights carrying a bright orange rally car? Some how someone did.
