yiannit280z
I am trying to find write-ups on how to install dc2 coilovers on a 280z but im not having any luck. Does anyone know if there are any write ups out there? Also which seems to be the better choice, DC2 coils or S13? Thanks in advance for any help Yianni T Quote Link to comment
Alex Datsun
This is in the wrong thread buddy, but i'll bite. The DC2's will get you quite low and have a decent ride quality, honestly though i would go with the s13 coilovers because they are all around stronger and bigger but may not go as low as the dc2's. All depends what you gonna do with it, you gonna hardpark and get on stanceystance websites or you gonna thrash on it at the track? Quote Link to comment
yiannit280z
im goin for in between track and looks lol. do you know how to install dc2 coils? Quote Link to comment
Alex Datsun
Yeah i have dc2 coils on my z and have had s13 coils on it aswell. I was going tobmake a write up after i apropriately lengthen my front strut tubes since their way too low. If your gonna track it s13 would be the way to go in my mind, i had a set kts coils that JZ33 is running on his now, take a look at few build threads on here. Comicartist-DC2 Mine- DC2 JZ33-S13 Coilovers Rustbucket- S13's or GC's??? Quote Link to comment
M240Z
Rustbucket is on s13 Megans Quote Link to comment
JZ33
haha the simple answer is this: find the write up to put on S13 coils... then DO THE SAME THING with the DC2 coils instead... no difference in process... Quote Link to comment
