Tomeegun222 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 as we speak i am putting a radiator from a 1991 toyota camry in my 79 620 a little custom mounting electric fan conversion, it was only 30 bucks almost brand new at a scrap yard even the same hoses are gonna work!!! so ill fill er up and drive it around and let you guys know what happens!!! ggzilla Posted June 12, 2012 Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 I was speaking of copper metal vs. aluminum metal. Certainly you can get an aluminum radiator that cools better than a copper one. Or vice-versa. Depends on how you build it. For example see http://www.caparadia...umvscopper.html. A properly-sized copper radiator works very well. Or get a thicker/wider aluminum radiator.
