I think all weber 38/38s are synchronous not progressive there might be a conversion kit out there but i doubt it. Get a 32/36 if you want progressive linkage.

 

 

Yeah.....there is a sync kit you can buy for the progressive 32/36 though, around 35 bucks

 

Also....I'm assuming all you guys that built a LZ23 checked the clearance between the rod and piston?

The stock Z22 con rod is wider than the Z24...a little too tight...could have some issues down the 'road'(?)....all relative to style/make of pistons used.

My clearance dropped to .012" (total)......from the stock 2.5 mms

Pistons were pulled....rods shaved

O.K.-that manifold with a progressive carb will be a disaster.Not a real good idea for the street.
