pejsa
hey everybody, ive been on here in the past but havent really frequented this site. befre i get to the datsun let me show you my d21 drift truck that ive owned for a little over 3 years now then now and my datto its a 79 l20b 5 speed took the rims from the drift truck and painted the high beams yellow and built a set of frankenstein drop spindles, there where originally for a frontier, i used my hardbody hubs and brakes and modified where the tie rod connects and currently looks like this MY REAL QUESTION IS, what are the dimentions for the drop blocks on these? ie. perch size and pin diameter... thanks for looking guys Quote Link to comment
Siqx20
I have a set of 3" blocks that im not using anymore cause im bagging my 620. just the blocks tho. i dont have the u bolts anymore. not sure what they run for these days. if ur interested make a offer. cash or trade. otherwise. both are good looking trucks :) I like the 620 alot. pejsa
@siqx20. i actually plan on 4" blocks so i just need the dimensions, length, width, and pin size but thank you for your offer. mark thanks man glad you approve. i actually just left it on your profile in the comments section, but i can pm it to you. (started hanging out with some of the sunset guys here locally, and its surprising how many people knew who you were, all saying good things of course) Quote Link to comment
yello620
What year frontier were those spindles for? What did you use for wheel bearings? Did the HB bearings fit on the frontier spindles? Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
welcome IN pesa....oh sorry, that's the other site. Good to have you here man. Quote Link to comment
pejsa
thanks guys, but i believe they were for a 2000 frontier. i had to press a bearing race off of them, but after that the hard body hubs and all slipped right on. but again notice how i had to modify the knuckle where the tie rod mounts to make this work Quote Link to comment
pejsa
and here it is all layer out (IM STILL GOING LOWER) started deleting all emissions, and installed a new brake master cyl. ill have pics of other stuff pretty soon please tell me which wheels you think look best on this!!!!! Pacific coast Datsun
I like the bronze rims myself. Any lower up front may require raising the shock towers..(pix in my thread). Have you been by Gregs yet so he fan check it out ? TY for the props..i know most of the sunset guys. Quote Link to comment
pejsa
well don't forget i have drop spindles in the front. I'm about a 1/16th of an inch from my bump stops. so if i pull those, run shorter shocks and change the exhaust i should be able to get it really low Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Gotcha. The beauty of raising the shock towers just 2 inches will allow you to run a stock length shock with plenty of travel & no bottoming out. Also if you go 1 3/4 from the downpipe flange to about mid cab you can run the exhaust above the torsion X-member. The pipe will never drag that way. Only drawback is the floor gets a little warm. pejsa
thanks for the tips man! if i remember right, you had your exhaust pipe crushed a little so it was oval and slid above the the crossmemeber right? Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Correct. Miguel down @ Eddies muffler squished it barely so it would not be touching the floor or Xmember. Quote Link to comment

pejsa
so i decided to do something about my inoperative coolant temp sensor, and install an electrical aftermarket one in its place. but a can of worms is a can of worms and i ended up cracking the lower thermostat housing (i was planning on driving 2 hrs north that day) so i did what i had to do to make it work. tig welded it back together, blocked off the old temp sensor and replaced the thermo vacuum switch with the new temp capillary. and installed some brass fittings also finally got some stickers made for my race club and both of my trucks 1 Quote Link to comment
pejsa
long time no update, but i installed the tie rods, removed the bump stops, aligned it, and got new front tires again and its amazing. almost like a whole other vehicle rides amazing. also installed my rhinolined front bumper, repainted my grill, and screened my low beams pics: Quote Link to comment
