I've never heard of them before today, and they seem to be a cheap and quickly sourced alternative to finding a different differential all together. Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
In a word: trash. You can find real R160 LSD's for not much more... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They force both side gears outward against the thrust washers using springs. The thrust washer in effect becomes the 'clutch disc' used in real LSDs. Thrust washers are called thrust washers and NOT clutch discs for a reason. Quote Link to comment
guillermofergu
I guess I'll stay away from that haha. I just wish I could source a R160. I've been to the junkyards in my area with no luck so far, and every one I have seen online has been snatched up, with some costing upwards of 700 dollars. Quote Link to comment

Creepy Cruiser
I could just imagine the nice shimmery oil that would come out of that thing, at the next fluid change, lol. Quote Link to comment
