wayno
OK, so you have a working wiper motor, I left the last one I seen at the wrecking yard, it was really dirty, and there were no discounts that day, I spent a lot of money for that set of 330 gears, but I needed them, so I bought them, but I did not buy anything else, it was to expensive. We are having a 50 percent off weekend this holiday, I might check the inventories to see what's out there. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Wayno if its cheap and you can verify it works let me know how much to 92880. The one I have works but i was told it has a short which makes no sense to me at all, there is no mother board or anything in it. Quote Link to comment

I will pull any 521 wiper motor assembly I find in the wrecking yards when I go there, but they are few and far between lately, and I rarely even go now because of how expensive they(PNP) are. wayno
Ok,no problem, I will try to make the 2 I have work. OK, I just tested one, solid blue is hot/positive, black is ground, blue with white line is slow, blue with red line is fast, connect solid blue to positive, connect black to ground, now touch the blue with white line to ground, it should run slow, then touch the blue with red line wire to ground, it should run fast, the yellow wire doesn't do anything for me as I am not sure how to connect it, it could go to either I suppose, but I don't want to possibly short it out to find out, it likely has something to do with the return. Sorry but I only have the one extra for all my trucks, so I cannot sell it, I do have two extra 520 motors, but they are only one speed. I just checked the local inventory, the Sherwood yard has a 67 and a 70, but they have both been there for over 2 months, so it's a waste of time to go there, as neither have anything good on them anymore as I have looked at them both. As I said, I will look out for a wiper motor for you, but it will likely take time to find one, we used to have people parting them out on craigslist, but I have not seen one being parted out for a few years now. datsun 521 ute
You get the rubber stuff from phils rotary? Nice clock, can you invert the mount to put it on the bottom of the dash? Hi Wayno. Yeah got the rubbers from him. I am stoked with the clock and it can be inverted so just have to machine up a base plate to sit properly under the dash Quote Link to comment

datsun 521 ute
So the tub, bonnet, and doors have all been sent to the soda blasters. Cab is almost in bare metal and hope to be completely back to bare today. Colour is going to be Super Jet Black. More picture of the resto. Both sills removed. This is what came out of this sill When taking repair sections out of the white cab this came out of the sill, measures about 40cm long. So glad I didn't end up using this cab. New section getting welded on Quote Link to comment
