Octopaws
So when I got the 510, it had shaved doors and no door poppers. =\ What's the cheap alternate route than buying door poppers? Or if ever would it be easier if I just get door poppers? I'll post pics later. Quote Link to comment
hacked521
just get door poppers, no other way is really secure. Quote Link to comment

Ratty260z
You could tie a piece of string around the door handle and have it go through the window and pull on it to open the door. Quote Link to comment

Bush
I used to run a small cable thru the door jam and into my fenderwell and secure it to something. go scavenge a shift cable off a bicycle and your good to go Quote Link to comment

Find them on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SHAVED-HANDLE-POPPER-KIT-RELEASE-CABLE-pop-open-shave-doors-power-fails-/400274844404?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d323d6af4#ht_2159wt_952 Quote Link to comment

You just had to be a bit sneeky and careful to who saw ya...lol. But opper kits are pretty inexpensive these days... Quote Link to comment

On my 2 door wagon, I plan to install solenoids and poppers. I don't need a hidden cable as I am keeping the hatch lock. If for some reason (Dead Battery) the solenoids stop working, I will crawl through the hatch and open the door. On a sedan you will need a backup cable. Quote Link to comment
