skunk
is that the only thing on the dash not working? could be a ground, a fuse, follow the wire from the fuse box to the gas gauge. have you ever cleaned your fuse box? my first 620 would do lots of funny stuff till i gave its box a good cleaning Quote Link to comment
Datsy620
to skunk: yeah that's the only thing that is wrong on the dash.. no I've never cleaned the box before. okay I'm going to follow the line. I'm gnna do that right now thank you very much . Quote Link to comment
skunk
take the fuse box out and soak it in lemon juice. maybe take a wire brush to the metal contacts before and after. if you haven't done this kind of stuff before, be sure to take some pic of how things were before you took them apart. TENDRIL
im assuming they worked before? do the running lights work? some times the pull switch can be wiggled. and or the connection from the switch to the harness slightly corroded check to see if there is power getting to the connectors at the beams find the headlight relay, turn the key over to on, pull the switch/or click the high beam lever foward listen for a click.. if nothing than most likely not getting power to the relay  Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
1. Buy new headlights. 2. If that doesn't solve the problem, buy new relay 3. If that doesn't solve the problem, buy new headlight switch 4. If that doesn't solve the problem, buy new Headlight Wiring Kit If that doesn't solve the problem, call owner and tell them it can't be fixed. Quote Link to comment
