Mista510
I got this drip coming from the engine after starting up the car from what looks like the drain plug for the block. how do I go about fixing it? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Open and close several times to get a better seat. If stuck don't force it, it may snap off. Be prepared with a propper threaded pipe plug. 08931-30410 is the plug. Used on L and Z engines. Quote Link to comment

Jester
Just yard it off and put a plug in it. Quote Link to comment
DanielC
Remember Datsun engines use the BSP (British Standard Pipe) fittings for the plugs. It is not a common "go to home depot and get a plug" fitting. Use the part number supplied to get the plug from a Nissan dealer. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
.... or of an old block. What Datsun owner doesn't have a couple? I just go out and cut the lawn to get the part I want. Quote Link to comment

DanielC
BSP is NOT just like the American engines. This chart had the differences. http://pipeandhose.com/node/2 Quote Link to comment
