Several of my upgrades have been very large cost wise so out has been ready to count that up. I do try to keep records tho for insurance purposes. I have not used my CC in over 3 years. I have a balance on it but for something else I was stupid about but I almost have it payed off now. I have only limited myself to make sure all of my bills and necessities are payed for. And this month allot of other periodic bills raised their heads so I am broke till next pay period then comes Christmas.... Shit, I just want to get this thing built! hahaha Quote Link to comment

And good job not using your credit card, I finally paid mine off. Im anxious to see that baby running!!!! I am about to cough up 1800.00 myself for paint. That's going to slow my progress as well. That comes off before use. But it would be cool to have a set that is clear anodized blue.... But not these. These are brand new all original.... Quote Link to comment

The Blue color of the Z is the same color of my Dime. It's hood is solid Blue Kevlar. But I was thinking about this. Black CF and Blue Kevlar. And Powder Coating is buff-able right? I have to buff out some micro scratching. As with most things, at the time, I did not know that I would ever be doing a monster build that would be better for D-jetro. I was trying to fix what I had at the time which was a nice setup but hind sights 20/20.... What I really want is an AEM MAP setup.... Quote Link to comment

aintnobiscuit Posted October 24, 2012 Report Share Posted October 24, 2012 Going map will absolutely blow your mind and simplify your intake setup. You have so much finer control over everything too with a full EMS. You'll see bigger gains too, and with that awesome ass engine, it would be well put to use. I've heard nothing but good news about the AEM system and there are tons of tuners all over that are familiar with it. I know what you mean about hindsight, LOL. If i could see into the future I would have done some things differently with my build... like using the intercooler you and (i think) topher are using, not driving my car when i knew it should be towed home, picked up a 71-73 (as i like the dash better), etc. Thats about it actually... not many regrets in my camp, and nothing that can't be fixed. I'm still interested in seeing what it puts down with the power-fc, i'm sure it will still be impressive as hell 1 Quote Link to comment
