calm_bomb
Went to replace my 2-point dizzy with p/c with a single-point SSS dizzy to put the electronic ignition conversion kit from Pertronix in. The old one points at #1, but the new one points at #2. Any thoughts or links? Here's what I see when I put the new one in: Old dizzy pointing at #1 New dizzy pointing at #2 ~derek Quote Link to comment
nismo dr
if that is tdc comp, make that #1, 1-3-4-2 Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
Are you sure it is in the slot? Quote Link to comment
Just Joel
That dizzy is from an l18 so the pedestal base might be different. Just change the plug wires so that the rotor points to number one cylinder and your good to go ;) I'm going through a similar problem with having the wrong base on my matchbox dizzy and had to rotate the shaft and relocate the first cylinder wire... hogboy52
Judging fro the position of the dist. cap slot, it is at the 1&1/2 position not #2. Never mind, The first pic it points at the clip and is half-way. Quote Link to comment
