duggyb
Well guys i am new to Ratsun, not THAT new to Datsuns in general, but am to the cars, i grew up in high school playing around with 720 series trucks,Z engines, etc(still got 3 in a bush haha) I have never stepped back into the L series much, nor knew much about them Well i acquired my first datsun car the other week from a fellow member here(Radio,im sure you all know him hahah judging by some of the posts ive read and ive seen his posts around) Anyways i purchased a 1970 510 Sedan, 4 Spd Manual, has 50,000 miles on it. The cars in medicore to rough shape, i am just happy it runs and drives right now so its fun to putt around in. Was pretty dirty when i got it, but i am cleaning it up as i can, take a look at the pics. As for plans right now, just get a weber on it, (buddy has one with plate yey!)runninging right, fix some squeaks, then start with things like, wheel bearings, brakes, balljoints, sway bar endlinks, other bushings that wear with age,etc Then i want to drop it, throw on some old wheels, and maybe in the very distant future put a shitty turbo on just for fun, This is more of a side project as my main car is a 09' Mustang GT that i am dropping a boosted CHP 298 stroker into(hoping for around 500whp) I Also have a 77' Honda CJ360T that i am wanting to go Cafe' style with, so as you can see i got lots on my plate haha. Anyways everyone likes pics! so here they are, i threw in some of the stang and bike for good measure. Some shots after a little paint correction, full pics to come at a later date! Let me know what you all think! Thanks. Dustin Quote Link to comment

uieluck
That thing looks pretty mint, minus the rust-bed made for "rats". Or depending terminology: "roach-coach bed". I prefer "rat-bed" for obvious reasons. But overall that things whoopin', good base. Quote Link to comment
