blown up

So i just blew up my L20B, and was wondering if i should just rebuild it or put something else in it. any advise?

Depends on how you blew it up. They are nearly bulletproof, so maybe your Ratsun card should be revoked :lol:

 

If there is no hole in the block, just put new rings or bearing (whichever it needs) and keep driving. You might not need a complete rebuild.

Probably overheated and blow the head gasket. As stated very hard to 'blow dem up'

I was going down the highway and the temp gauge wasn't working and i started smelling something and it was almost out of antifreeze, so i filled it up and later down the road a cloud of smoke blew out the back. the thing i was confused about was just put a brand new water pump and radiator in it, so my guess is head gasket. Didn't look like oil was mixed with any antifreeze. but i do have a cammed 350 laying around and was thinkin about dropping that in there possibly? but other than that i just want more power than before.

Don't sound like the engine blowed-up. Worst case, the head gasket blew. Easy fix $20 and some of your time. A compression test will tell you.
