JCR
how can a simple task be such a disaster i simply wanted to change a thermostat everything is fine but the darn thing was leaking so i get a new gasket and try again this time the inside bolt goes in and tightens up gets to a point and boom no more tension on the bolt..i start to undo it and it has tension tighten again and no tension long story short the hole is stripped ...no more threads now if it had been the outside hole i have seen it drilled through and bolted but the inside one no such luck so i am looking for ideas or a new lower thermostat housing thoughts on a heli (i think) coil or thread cutter thanks all or maybe somebody has a housing ??? please let me know Quote Link to comment
