metalmonkey47
Anyone got pictures of any wide/heavy offset wheels on a 210? I'm just playing with a few ideas in my head, and after seeing trolling summit racings wheels section, wanna get some ideas on some cheap playtime rims. I don't like the look of the skinny wheels that are on there, and just wanna see something wider.. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You want heavy wheels? 19 x 9.5 on a Datsun 210: Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Oh my god... GGzilla... I just about died laughing at that  Something more like 13x10's or 15X8's with a 0 offset or even tucked a slight bit more? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You don't like wide wheels? The fronts are 19x8 (I think), but the rears are definitely 19 x 9.5. Stock body. 13" limits your choice of tires. 15" would be a better go. 16" even better. Quote Link to comment
vex210
Metalmonkey go with 14 or 15" 7 on front, 8 on back and 0 offset . here's my friend Victor rims on my old 210 xxr513 15" 7F, B8. In my 310 Im going to run 7 and 8 slot mags 14''. sorry only got one pic.. here's your car Metalmokey, and keep doing a good job on your car.. Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Oh my god... GGzilla... I just about died laughing at that  Something more like 13x10's or 15X8's with a 0 offset or even tucked a slight bit more? B310 with 15X8 wheels 0 offset looks like this: Does not tuck... LOL Quote Link to comment
CharlieBucket
So it my B210 but why not. i don't even know the offset on these wheels. They are 13x8, but it's a negative offset for sure. I really need to pull the fenders and drive this car again. this is a PS. i just like it. it will be slammed like this, someday. 1 Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
omg.... this car with some 15X8's would look absolutely AMAZING... Charlie, your car is awesome! When are we gonna work on it and get it running? LOL Quote Link to comment
vex210
Does not tuck... LOL Did you change the rear end stock(wide?) to 200sx(wide ?) with this set up of rims, or you still have the stock r-end, on this pic. love the offset on these 13" :o Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
Does not tuck... LOL Did you change the rear end stock(wide?) to 200sx(wide ?) with this set up of rims, or you still have the stock r-end, on this pic. love the offset on these 13" :o This pic is a stock rear end picture. 200sx rear end is a total of like 0.75" wider on each side. ggzilla
Does not tuck That's why they invented stretch. Do it! Quote Link to comment
prophet1012
hello, i am new to this forum, so escuse me if I say somthing wrong, I have A 1982 datsun B310 4 door sedan, everything stock and I have one very inportant question (for me). what is the maximum rim width I can fit without modifying the car? i currently have the 4.5J the care came with. I wish to lower it in the futur but i am at a loss in what to do. this is my loved car xD Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Very nice sedan! The widest I have seen in 10" wide. Requires no modification to the car IF you fit small-diameter tires to it. Yes, they will stick outside the fenders (and therefore will be illegal in most localities). For details on more realistic wheels, see http://community.ratsun.net/topic/48974-210-wheel-offset-series-b310/ Quote Link to comment
prophet1012
thanks for the tip. Do you think i should post a new topic regarding my b310, as I have a project in mind and i need some help/info with that regard. In the near future i will put either a ca18det or ga16de (i would have put an sr20det in it but its illegal in malta for a 1.2litre car to have an engine swap larger than 1.9 litre) in it. ggzilla
Read the B310 wheel topic. And if you have questions about it, reply to it. If you have other questions unrelated to wheel size, create a new topic. Quote Link to comment

Every photo of a B310 with 15x8 0+ offset pokes out SO far. Quote Link to comment
vex210
Well the body lip was sitting on top of the tire I never got drive with them. It had the stock rear end, you could see the size of the tire front and rear. These were 15x8.5 (-15) and there poping out, with roll lip. Quote Link to comment

Ahh okay, cheers for the help. :-) I'm planning on putting 15x8 0+ offest all round on my B310 Sedan without to much mods. What tyre sizes do you reckon would work well? 175/185? This is a road car by the way. Quote Link to comment
prophet1012
You want heavy wheels? 19 x 9.5 on a Datsun 210: i only wonder how did they fit  Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They probably don't except straight ahead. I can't see driving this around a corner in town and hitting a cigarette butt without the rim rubbing the upper fender. People do this and never say how inconvenient it is to drive. Looks are everything to them. Bet to turn around you have to make a 7 point turn. Or there are no springs and the axles and struts are welded solid. Quote Link to comment
