ricky
Hey I found this on a web site but there way to much new. So I hope some one here has one. In Sacramento here's a pic 1 Link to comment
Wide14u
is it side draft to a regular manifold Link to comment
ricky
Yes either with a manifold made for dgev or stock manifold with adapt plate Link to comment
nismo dr
that seems like a lot of weight to hang off suck small fasteners Link to comment
ricky
Well I was thinking it would allow a single side draft run better on a l20b then the Other options out there Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
the fuel vapor will have to make it around to many bends Link to comment
Wide14u
didn't see it in the title my bad Link to comment
datsunaholic
Well I was thinking it would allow a single side draft run better on a l20b then the Other options out there Not with the air having to make 2 90° turns. Plus added distance. A straight sidedraft manifold is the way to go. Link to comment
ricky
Well I got a lynx I just keep reading how hard it is to make run right. And I don't have the money to do twin 40s Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
I have heard that the lynx single is the best side draft mani. that adapter looks counter productive for sure. Link to comment
ricky
Yea that's what I herd to I'll proble give it a try or just stay with 32/36 Link to comment
Burabuda
why not just get one of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/Datsun-L16-L18-L20B-Weber-fuel-injection-manifold-/180692037342?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a1215aede Link to comment
ricky
I have a manifold. I read that No mater what if you don't run dual carbs you won't get the same fuel to all 4 cylinders. So you can't get them to run right. Not to mentioning don't even know where to begin with the jetting amd everything else the dcoe needs swapped Link to comment
ggzilla
What you read is totally false. A single carb runs fine. And we know the jetting for a staock L16 engine. Link to comment
ricky
Ok so how about jetting for a l20b with a closed a87 and a stage 2 isky cam Link to comment
hang_510
I read that No mater what if you don't run dual carbs you won't get the same fuel to all 4 cylinders. So you can't get them to run right. Not to mentioning don't even know where to begin with the jetting amd everything else the dcoe needs swapped the runner are different lengths on most manifolds, not so with the lynx. (is that what you mean by same fuel?) thats more of an issue for high speed, not really an issue for a cruiser. my friend likes his single 45. Link to comment
hang_510
would be cool if that adapter fit the Weber IDF Link to comment
ricky
I want an idf I'd make an adapter at friends machine shop that would be sick Link to comment
ricky
Guy said due to flow that the fuel won't separate evenly to all 4 cylinders Link to comment
